Latvia: Discussion on pilot project for integrated care for minors with drug dependence
Latvia has launched a pilot project to build an integrated care pathway for minors with drug related mental and behavioural disorders. A unique multidisciplinary team at the Children’s Hospital, extended motivation programmes and cooperation with social and law enforcement services aim to ensure continuous support beyond acute treatment. Since the project began, 107 minors have received structured clinical and social assessments.

Finns want society to support healthy lifestyles
A new survey from the Cancer Society of Finland shows that while Finns want to live healthily, everyday life makes healthy choices difficult. Many expect society to create environments that support better choices, including access to healthy food, opportunities for physical activity, and limits on the availability of tobacco and alcohol.
