What has happened since - 2026 edition

“What has happened since” is our running case library where we track how alcohol and drug policy issues develop after the first moment of attention, when a proposal appears, a decision is taken, or a public debate starts. Each case sets out the original situation, what NordAN did (for example letters, consultations, coalition work, or public communication), and then follows the timeline of what happened next, including changes to the draft, political responses, final outcomes, and any later revisions. The point is simple: policy work does not end with one announcement, and this page helps you see the full story over time, with clear dates, sources, and updates as they emerge.
